October 6-9 Arkansas hunt for the toothbrush inventor

If anyone is interested in extending this trip, I'm down. I'm taking off Thursday to drive to Long Pool and I'm off from Friday the 6th until Friday the 13th. I know the plan is to do the route from Friday-Sunday and head home Monday. I'd be interested in extending it another day to drive back up to Whitaker Point (or anywhere, really) if anyone else is.

My plan right now is to leave Mansfield on Thursday morning and try to meet up with @Silverback and @bakerla when they roll out of Martin Creek Lake SP. It's about a 2.5 hour drive there for me, so as long as they're not leaving out from there at like 7am, it works for me. Looks like it's about 5.5 hours from there to Long Pool.

We're gonna pass right through there if we take the same route we did last year. That is where we stopped and ate lunch one of the days.
Getting closer and closer; only 5 weeks away now. I have a good bit of stuff to get knocked out before this gets here. Hopefully this 3 day weekend is good to me.

Yep getting close. Need to contact Chris Hefty and see what the ETA is for my sliders and skid. Even if they get here the day before, I'll just throw them on and go. Then clean them up and paint them when I get back. Going to try and knock out some rear fridge slide/drawer setup too maybe. Depends what the weather is like in my week off of work. And of course I have my suspension install to do still. But that's as easy as writing a check. Hoping I can have it done by next weekend so I can do a day trip down to HF with y'all and give it a shakedown. But I don't think that's going to happen.

Well... I just found out my aunt is not doing well and my dad is looking into hospice options for her. I should feel bad but she has been self imploding for years and refuses to do anything to help herself or listen to doctors. Because of her selfishness my dad has had to miss several things to run down to Austin more times than I care to count to drag her to doctor appointments, pick up her meds, help with her house, and a ton of other crap.
I hope this trip does not get interrupted with her kicking the bucket and being guilt tripped into going to her service.

I'm still in for this but I probably won't be able to extend it like I planned. Too much overtime available at work I'm October and I'm a few months from buying a house so I need to soak up overtime and weekends as much as possible. Definitely not missing the trip though as long as I don't happen to die before then.
