@CowboyTaco I agree that the truck not rolling was definitely earned the lucky dog award. I really need to figure out a way to become independently wealthy tonight so I do not have to go back to work tomorrow. December cannot get here fast enough for the BBRSP trip. @Silverback start working on getting out of that Chiraq trip and come with us to BBRSP instead.

I think what he was referring to was the log coming free and rolling downhill into @bakerla truck. At least that is what I was thinking.

Tomorrow night... too late for me to be doing manual labor like that. But I will be opening it up tomorrow morning to let it air out, vacuum out the sand/dirt and wash the sheets/blankets.

I can upload Tex's route as a KML that I used with BCN with the US Forest Topo map (thanks bakerla for that tip). It was pretty close except for a few detours.



I did not realize I had the oldest rig there. But we did have a lot of silver in the group!



Pictures never do a trail justice; but it would have been nice to have something.

Learned quite a bit this trip. This was my longest camping trip of this style and I did it with a new setup which took a bit to get used to.

• I need a fridge as the Yeti and ice didn't quite cut it. It did well except for needing more ice. I also underpacked beer.
• I need more lights for under the tent over the bed of the truck.
• I need to move my spare tire out of the bed to make room for gear. Inside the truck I only had room for me and my boy. The roof rack will help with that a bit for storage once that comes in. A rear bumper with swing out will fix the it altogether.
• I need sheets for the RTT mattress. Bought them tonight, 40% off some ugly color.
• I need a better mounting setup for the 2M handheld. Looking at options for ram mounts to fix to the Tech Deck.

I just ordered a hand held mic for the 2M radio. Hopefully that will help with some of the radio use issues.
