I've been keeping my cooler in the bed of my truck always stocked with cold beer. Get out of work and crack one open on the way into the barracks, ready for #2 by the time I get to the fridge in my room. Shower, change, #3 on the way out, grab #4 from the cooler and go wherever my friends happen to be heading to. The drinking will continue until I can fly again!

I used to do that with the taco when I drove it more.. now it just sits outside. It was convenient.

I'll build a keg holder for the tube bed when I go that route.

I'm actually thinking about cutting out part of the back of the cab when I build the tube bed so I can tie into the cage better... would make a good spot for the keg to pass through as well.

I was thinking about cutting out an area about 6-8" below the cab window.. basically just making the rear window that much larger. I could then drop the rear harness bar a few inches and this would allow me to move the seat back a few more inches.. or tilt it back. Not to mention I could reach through opening and get into a cooler that much easier.

You'd have to start drinking warm English beer. Well, to be authentic you'd have to convert the electronics to Lucas. That would also allow more time for drinking and would keep you from damaging the truck!

Well the Raisin is getting tunes soon. I am not going to install the Sony marine headunit I have (with iPod controls). Someday I might. But for now I'm keeping it simple.

I have a 16 Gb iPhone 3G I don't use.. and I also have a new 16 Gb Nano. So the plan will be to use one of those as the source.. probably the Nano (radio). I'll shove it in a modified Pelican case.. the modification will be to allow a iPod connection to fit through it. I just picked up a iSimple MediaWire Pro dealio.. it connects to your iPod/iPhone/iPad and while charging it, it also sends out 2 RCA outputs for the audio... it also has a remote control to manage track, fast forward,rewind, enter, play, pause.. yada yada. From this I plan to plug into a Cadence marine grade EQ/Line Driver. Simple unit, Volume-bass-mid-treble.. I'll stick this below the OEM deck that is inop. But its backlight and pretty small. It will be used for volume control.. out from there to my Polk Audio marine amp (small unit.. 75 x 2) and then into a tuffy box filled with Polk Audio MM series (marine grade) 6x9's. All weather proof and should sound decent. Down the road I'll add a set of UTV speaker pods attached to the kickpanel areas filled with Polk Audio marine 5.25" coaxials. No more sticking someones smart phone in a cup holder to play Pandora on the trails.

iSimple came in the mail today.. awaiting the Tuffy Boxes and Polk 6x9's.

I ordered the outer hub to replace the one that had the studs blown off of it. Ordered it from Village Toyota (http://www.villagetoyotaparts.com.. which BTW has a fantastic way of identifying the part you need.. its has the IPB's and you can look that way). Anyhow, its been on order for a while but they said it could take 10 days to ship. Well I just got an email that its been discontinued and the replacement part is 4x as much $$. Damn.

Anyone have one of these laying around for a 83 Yota front axle? Part is in red
