Ahh.. its behind a locked fence and has two locks on it. If they want it they'll get it.

I did go look at it at lunch though, its there. Needs tires though.. they seem to be bulging a little. Not sure I'd trust them to tow with.

Also went and grabbed the battery out of my trail rig to bring home. I need to buy some rat poison.. little fuckers shit on my floorboards.

This is parked a couple miles from the house.. just a super cool tow rig. Engine is under the flatbed.

That would be so super cool.

Yeah I've only seen it move (and by move I mean around the yard) a few times. One day the side covers where off under the car hauler and I saw an engine under there. Might have just been a spare engine or a storage locker.. but it is super cool. I want to go talk to the guy about it but the place is gated... and its Texas.

Installed SS bolts with tamper resistant nuts on all the lights today.

Also installed a 12v Blue Seas marine outlet in the bed.

Finally tore apart the interior a bit, adjusted the e-brake and got to work wiring up the 120v outlets in the cab as well as some other crap.
The 120v outlets will be powered by a small 200 watt inverter in the OEM inverter location. I figure 200 watts is enough for anything in the cab. There is a 2500 watt in the bed for anything else.
The switch up top controls the inverter. The plug on the far left is an ARB fridge plug.. not the normal 12v outlet style. On the far right is a Blue Seas 12v outlet. Finally, in the blank space between the two plugs on the right will be an USB plug and a fuse. Awaiting the USB plug.

Did someone say 'fuse?'

As always, you work looks great!

yeah, I tend to be a fan of them. :)

Also got a refurbed Oasis compressor. I don't want to install it in the same location that I have one now, takes up too much room. So I think I might see about building a mount for it to sit behind the rear tire and up in the bedside.. where the driver side cubby is now.

Dual Oasis'? OH MY!

Oh no.. not dual. I'm pulling out the original one. The motor needs rebuilt in it.. it works but it blows a 200 amp breaker when it gets to about 100 psi. I can send it back to Oasis but they want $700 to rebuild it! I plan to just take it to a local electrical shop and see what they can do. But I don't want to install the new-to-me one in the toolbox.. hope to gain a little space back.

700 to rebuild an electric motor? Thats pretty damn steep price tag

Yeah, well apparently they replace it with one that has a fan on it (100% duty cycle) and it draws less current.. but still. $700!!

What about selling both and get two of these?

I thought about buying just one of those.. but I'll do another Oasis and get the one fixed (provided its not $500).

Oh, and even with two of those.. they still come up short. At 100 PSI those things are good for about 3-4 CFM.

Bedside Hose Real?

I think I'll just run outlets front and rear. I have a nice 3/8's coiled up hose that works well. Probably just move the outlet from inside the toolbox to somewhere near the tailgate and also run one up from. Already have the line ran up there. Just need a T and a fitting.

What does the Oasis churn out?

Thats nice.. I didn't find any small circuit breakers that I liked. I'll need to look for one like that.

Wouldn't it be nice to have nothing but circuit breakers? I remember an aerospace surplus shop that used to sell them dirt cheap.
