Looks really nice. I like the exit angle on the rears to the reservoir better than some of the other shocks with reservoirs I have seen.

I was happy with that too... they tuck up nicely.

The more I drive with these new shocks the more I like them. Now I need new tires. Getting kinda low on the tread size. I want to stay with a 285/75/17 but not sure I want to go KM2 again. Downside to that is my spare is perfect. I want some Open Country MT's... I just don't want to spend the $$ on 5 of them.

Get a price matched quote. 4wheelparts had em for $340 a piece IIRC

Discount tire will match the deal and get em delivered for free.

Project for the weekend. Replace that shitty OEM trans "cooler". Replacing with this. Will need to build something to mount it to.. nothing special.

Hows your frame holding up?

Perfect... recall those Fox shocks? No rust.. same with the frame. Not a spot one.

I did notice trans temps a little high today (220 or so). Now I know its damn near 100 outside and I'm sure the pavement is over 100... but thats the highest I've ever seen it without pulling a trailer in the summer. I had the transmission flushed about 2k miles and it shifts fine. So this cooler is a pretty good investment.

Cool. Glad to hear you guys are OK. My 08's fine as well. I'm guessing many factors contribute to it.

Not mine started rusting everywhere there was a factory rivet

I kept mine indoors for most of its life though and I've kept the frame somewhat painted.

Sean, is that for your Taco? I should think about it but I have never had an over temp warning. I do have a bit of a higher heat load with the intercooler. Being that I was once an exec with the company that claimed they invented the transcooler, I too should have one. :)

Yep.. for Taco. Its not a Hayden though. :) It didn't throw any warnings, but my trans temp gauge was showing it running a little high.

Just double check your fluid level at the running temp, only cause you had it recently serviced

That is a good point; Toyota seems to like transmissions 1-2 quarts low now with the 3rd gens. Hopefully they can tell he has a 2nd gen but considering the hell I went through yesterday to get two oil filters at the dealership I highly doubt it. The parts desk retard needed my VIN to "assure the part is 100% correct" for me.

Sealed transmission... no way to tell its fluid level. :(
