Got the thin nuts from McMaster-Carr, worked perfectly. I didn't use the lock washer, just used some LocTite. Lots of room.

One thing per day... today was not wiring in the bed day. Under truck Kenwood camera installed. I threw some heat shield tape on it.. its about 6" from the exhaust, should be fine. This will help I suppose.

Not much today, have a wedding we need to go to. But I got a couple little items. Storage container lid lights, stay on for 20 seconds. Not super bright but I was able to make out items well enough. And a little magnetic holder for the tailgate area for spices, sprays, etc and paper towels. Magnet wasn't strong enough so I whipped up a little piece of paracord that is pressure fit into the slots for wall mounting. Works well and folds up fairly small.

Well miracles happen.. I did some wiring. Not done but its a start. Got the AuxBeam 8 switchpanel wired up and working. Had a few setbacks, the ground wire was cut but luckily it was in a place I could access. The ring terminals I needed I only had 1 of. I have a shitload of terminals but only one was small enough to fit in between the sides of the AuxBeam fuse panel. I had to wire in a cutoff switch for it. Its designed to be triggered on by the ignition. Anyhow... its in and works. Tomorrow I will hopefully connect the main started battery to the rear battery bank.

Figured out what was wrong with my SPOD.... installer error. Was connected to the wrong channel. Works awesome. Ditch lights are on demand.
Also got my front battery connected to the rear battery bank. Almost finished up the in-cab rear battery monitor/charging port connection to the rear. Should have that wrapped up tomorrow.

Nice!!! I keep debating a different light and accessory controller instead of the traditional switches. The touch pads seem to be figured out now.

Just like everything these days. Switches, on the other hand, are cheap and reliable; but take up more space.
They've started making cheaper switch panels that you can get off Amazon. Whether or not they burn your truck up is a different question

I used an Aux Beam switch panel in the bed for the lights. Seems well made, time will tell. They have several styles.

Ok, got the battery monitor/charging port in the dash connected to the rear battery. Got the Blue Seas MLACR reconnected and working. Installed a external solar connector to allow me to connect another portable solar panel to the rear setup. Paint pen'd the connector to ensure it gets connected correctly. I have a folding 100 watt version. Ordered a 25' extension for it. Need to take it out and give it a bath! Then swap back in my RCV axle, change fluids and get the inverter installed. I'd like to say clean up the wiring in the toolbox but that is a mess and I will wait until it cools off.

I filled it up with fuel today along with a bottle of Techron. Plan is to drive it 100 miles or so over the next few days. Just to make sure it still can. Also noticed that I need new rear leafs. With the new bed rack and "poor mans decked system" she hits the bump stops on bumps. So tempted to buy the OME designed for 660 lbs in the bed at all times plus the extra leaf. I've spent way too much on it lately so I'll wait and see how it goes.
