Maybe I can get the rear locker installed... Just ordered a fuse block to install under the hood. It's a start. Still need to get a bunch of wire, terminals, and heat shrink though.

I'll definitely let you know when that happens. If I don't think I'll have time to get it in, wired, and broken in before the trip I'll probably just leave it. I'd rather go without a locker than not go at all.

I'll do some planning and parts ordering this weekend between newborn naps.

There is an expected cold front rolling through Texas mid week next week that should make the camping weather great for the weekend. Now I am really looking forward to this trip.

Zero gas here from Floresville to the gulf coast last station had it for $3.49 bunch of folks reported it to Texas AG for price gouging

Gas trucker dude today said said expect 2-3 weeks before they can catch up, the hit areas get gas first is what is expected

I still need to go fill up the 5 gallon jerry cans for the trailer but I will wait. I don't want people thinking that I am buying into it and stocking up. I did fill up yesterday but I was at 1/8th a tank. LOL

I'm not passing judgement on anyone, I just think its a little nuts that people with 1/2 a tank in their 4cyl camry are worried about a gas shortage over the weekend. They've said on the radio several times that there is no substance to the rumor but that gas stations are running out of gas because all the knuckle heads stocking up for no reason.

I saw 2 open out of 5 this morning going to the lease, they said 300 stores in SA ran out last night
