Took Kenna out shooting today, also got to shoot my new AR pistol today. Love that thing. Kenna says its her new favorite as well. Now in the videos below she has never shot a .223 AR, only her .22LR version.

First with the Sig 16"

Now with the pistol. LOL. She ended up loving it.

You need her to lean into the rifle, in the direction your firing, in the video her stance is arched backwards, she needs to be more of forward stance and her feet needs to be a few inches wider than shoulder width.

Teach her the right techniques at her age from the beginning and she will out shoot you and myself all day long.

I spent all day Saturday with 25+ BS kids at a private ranch with rifle and shotgun ranges, it was nice to have nice quality weapons and qualified instructors to teach these boys how to shoot properly, it reminded me that there are many shooting techniques I have forgotten to teach my own boys.

Picked up a scope for my AR yesterday. Vortex Crossfire.

Not a bug fan of the pluck foam but itll work for now until I can get a solid piece of foam and have it cut.

I ran the piss out of this JP Enterprises VMOS bolt in my 10.5" .223 SBR this past weekend. Made a helluva difference in the recoil impulse (super soft).
I'm glad it worked so well because of how expensive it is lol

Ordered a V Seven weapons system 2055 lightened buffer tube, castle nut and QD endplate. Ended up shaving about a 1/4# off my two lowers. I mainly got the buffer tubes for the 11 position adjustable settings for my stock. They are a thing of beauty!

He needs to get all the toys inside the front door while he can. The locker can be bought after the kid is here as "maintenance repair" later.

I may or may not have done this... :)

My wheeling days are over for the next couple of years. I've got one rotation left on my current tires and then I'm probably going back to all-terrains (better MPG & less wear & road noise) until the kiddo is old enough that I can go wheeling again.
Also, this is the last thing I can do to both of my AR lowers anyways. They are as good as they are ever going to be at this point. Which is fine because I'll have these for the rest of my life as they are both NFA lowers. So my kiddo's will inherit them. :)

Exactly what I plan on doing lol
