I bought a 12 pack of 966 the other night at HEB... Cashier said "Shiner in a can.. You hurt my heart". I laughed.

Cans tasted just fine. I'm collecting tabs for my nephew (Ronald McDonalds house) so I buy cans.

There is a beer launch party tonight at King's Biergarten (Great German restaurant!). $15 cash at the door, all you can drink of the new beers. 6pm until 12am... The 3 new beers thay have are Hofbrau Oktoberfest, Bitburger Pilsner, and Kostritzer Black Lager.
