I tried that a few years ago and couldnt get what we wanted/needed for our house or find one that we both agreed on. Also my wife wont leave this area and I wont move unless I can move about 30-40 miles west of here.Fuck it... move and let someone else deal with it.

thats great if you can reuse it ~ less for the new guys to work on.
One another note I think this is pretty interesting. If I attended this guys class in 83' and followed the teachings/lifestyle I have a feeling I'd be pretty freaking set right now.
I'm a capitalist, but I still find it an deep quote if you really think about it and then understand how he's trying to apply it to his premaculture class.

Looks like I'm gonna be adding a couple more cameras to the house as well as adding/repositioning some lights. Had a guy try to come through my yard around 6am. He was in my neighbors yard trying to come over the fence into my yard. My alert dog did her job great and me and the neighbor were armed and ready. Never got a good look at him. I only saw a silhouette and the neighbors cameras only show a silhouette/blur moving through their yard.

Replaced #2, top portion of the valve jar, diaphragm, spring and solenoid.
so Orbit has change the design of the 1” and 3/4“ FMT in-line valve body’s, it will now have 4 larger screws instead of the 8 screws. So I found three more of the old style ones and package of 5 more diaphragms that fit these valves. I may order 3 more, cause if you can’t find those in-line valve bodies, that would require digging up everything and plumbing in the newer design/model valve body which would be total PITA, especially mine located in the rock flower beds.
old solenoid busted in 3 places, it was still working intermittently and diaphragm was wore out.
Replaced another sprinkler head as well.

Yep.. we tried a bunch of things to keep (sparkly hanging things, some other shit I forget) the birds from just pecking a fucking hole in the good ones. Someone said to put a bird bath near the tomatoes because they poke holes in to get water and not really to eat the tomato. Not sure if true since we have a fucking pool 60' away. Lazy fucking birds. We built a chicken wire cage over them last year, kinda a bitch to get in and clean out weeds and whatnot but the birds stayed out.
