Throw the tea into the harbor lol

Watch out what you ask for. Highway project near me is 4+ years over schedule and 50 million over budget. Looking at 15 year project. Last bad rain took out 200 meters of brand new highway that wasn't even open to the public yet causing further delays. Big dig kinda bs.

I want dirt roads lol

Insulators are here taking out all of the blown in insulation in the attic. They've already filled a box truck up in 7 hours and we still probably have a few more hours to go...

I finished pulling up the last of this shit tile on the 1st floor. It was installed crooked and badly put down.

Spoke to my neighbor again today. He's hiring a company to come clean out his yard monday.

I don't get people... offer free help and guy pays someone when he's broke and in preforclosure. Stupied is as stupied does

I'm ready to rock and roll. Picked out and stained my best 4x4's today. So glad I stickered them up for a while so now I know exactly what ones are bananas and where all the checks are so I can choose bottoms and what sides go where.

Insulators finished earlier than I thought they would. They filled up 8 massive bags of blown-in insulation. The most the guy had ever taken out was 5 bags.

that project is pathetic. By the time they get done constructing it the guys who designed it will be dead lol

NJ spends more per mile for roads than any other state and it's not due to location or cost of living. It's all cost of graft. The mob only wants everyone to think they are dead. They got their fingers in everything. Kick backs are 2/3 the costs and 1/2 the delays if I had to guess.

I've never worked on a large public project where someone at the top didn't go to jail for fraud. Heck the head of the carpenters union just got jailed for burning down a church when he didn't get their contract for renovations.

Finally purged my unwanted lawnmower that showed up in my driveway years ago

Also gave the same guy my chimenia. Starting to almost not look like a junk yard here.

Did that mower work? Snapper made pretty good stuff.

It is VERY well built oldschool heavy metal. Not today's junk like my newer push mower.

I was told by my sister it had a hole in the gas tank after she dropped it off. Turns out when I was busting her stones at dinner this easter my bro in law said it ran fine. I parked it 4-5 years ago lol

If it gets running I'm getting two cuts and fall leaf clean up out of it. Hopefully I don't need that

Chimenia already got a coat of high temp paint and being burnt in.

Trying to motivate the neihbors kid into taking care of his yard. Hopefully this helps. Sence of ownership and pride can be difficult for a 21yo to get

Last 2 cabinets came in yesterday. Got them assembled and in place. I'm not as impressed with the quality as I am the wall cabinets, but everything matches. Now to move my toolbox under the cabinets and make it look like a complete set. Oh yeah, and fill them with crap.

Any recommendation on how to store the miter saw? The base has a couple of holes in it. I'm thinking about maybe setting some hooks in the wall and hanging it. That would at least get it off the work bench (that I plan to paint black).

I bought a stand for my miter saw that folds up and it on wheels. One of the Homer Despot versions. Works great.

Mine came with a stand, but it doesn't have wheels. I'm going to mount up a holder on the wall for the stand, as it is currently just leaning up in the corner. But that still leaves me with the question of what to do with the saw.

I originally ordered the deep cabinet. It should have fit based on the dimensions given in the description. However, they didn't provide inner dimensions, which was significantly smaller than the outer dimension.

Looking good.

Every shop I worked at storing them has been an issue. On stands and not on stands. Doesn't matter, they are just large. I'd throw some hooks into the studs and hang her up to clear floorspace.

Mine is on an old TV stand, it has wheels.
