All the materials were left by previous owner, to include the cedar post in the ground already. I think, this is how big the back yard is going to be! No longer have to leash the dogs for potty breaks. The cows can help mow around the house and the rest of the 68 acres, lol. I just hope the cows don't leave presents on the front porch.

Get some goats so you don’t have to squeeze a mower in there. 🐐

The cows most definitely will leave fertilizer on the porch.

Tommy want wingy..
Good predator ginny you got there!
Order replacement carb, tune up kit, filters and pull start for backup.

10-4. My little predator 3500 has been a Hoss so far so it was an easy choice. It wont be as quiet as the inverter one but the AC will work!!

Picked up some green giant arborvitaes to make a wind block/ fence from the neighbor. Only $4 a pop, other places wanted up to $25 for one plant! They are a little small so it'll take a while for them to grow but I've got time, 40 of them in total.

Also set up a drip irrigation for them so I don't have to go out there and waste all my time trying to keep them hydrated while they're young.

Had a former coworker come by yesterday afternoon to give me some quotes on some projects around the house that I don’t have the time/ability/want to do. Going to have him cut down on of the trees in the front yard that’s dead, replace the fence along the back of my lot, widen my gate going into the back yard by about 14-16”, and demo/haul off the brick mailbox and brick pony walls around the front porch. Also in the spring he’s going to replace the sewage lines between the clean out and city main as well as install a double clean out then I’ll go in and plant a new replacement tree and lay down new sod.

My winter projects are going to be fabricating and installing the replacement for the pony wall and covering the back porch. Trying to talk my wife into letting me close it in with the top half of the walls being screen but she’s not on board with that. Thinks it will make our yard feel smaller.

Got this drying rack installed in the laundry one. The other one was cheap and broke.

Finally got my compressor installed the other night. I have been debating where to put it and I finally just said screw it, it needs to be done. I had to man up and lift the whole compressor up off the pallet and kick the pallet out from under it so I can set it on the ground and move it into position.
I have the airlines already so I need to start mounting those on the ceiling to the air hose reels. I'm going to also wire in a heavier gauge cord with thicker insulation onto it as well.
I told my wife that if we ever move, I'll probably try to sell the compressor with the house lol

Finally got the new microwave in. I got the Panasonic inverter (large model) based off Wirecutter recommendation. It actually heats food up in a minute (unlike the old Samsung) so that's nice.

Started upgrading the closet in my youngest son's room. Went to remove the wire shelving and noticed water damage where the single support was anchored to the drywall.

Apparently Pulte allows their contractors to attach their scaffolding to the house THROUGH THE SHINGLES. They may or may not lay a new shingle on top of it to prevent water from entering the house. We caught the first one in time and they fixed it over my daughters room. But only did the one and didn't look for more. We're out of warranty, so I called a roofer buddy to come fix over my son's room. He checked the rest of the house. $100 later and all the holes are patched and I didn't have to get on the roof.

So then I had to cut a hole to see how bad the water damage was behind the wall. Not too bad considering....

Replaced the carb on my pressure washer and then spent the next 4.5 hours pressure washing the sidewalk, the driveway (all the way to the street) and a good portion of the sidewalk in front of the house. WOW... it was black! Looks like a different house now.
