Well that's the dilemma. Do I make it easy to remove if it weighs 100 lbs. I think a couple recessed access panels (just a small hole to use to pull it open with) would be nice. Because I want to also have a small backsplash on it to prevent crap from falling behind. I guess once I get it made I can see how easy it is to remove and go from there.

Started out with this Saturday morning. End goal is to turn it into a metal rack with storage on top. I am going to put some expanded metal swing out doors that will hold tools/grinder discs/hammers and such types. The doors will have a caster so as to keep weight off the hinges.

Progress as of this evening. Looks like I will be home for most of the day again tomorrow so i should be able to get the frame work done. Now I am wishing I had the expanded metal and rest of the 1" angle iron here already.

Using the walk behind spreader and broadcasted and over 300lbs of Balan in yard, then jump into jacuzzi for 2hrs until the heat could not keep up with the outside air, drop down to 98

I did a little work around the "house" today. I installed the black out blinds over the wine cellar today. I want to keep out as much light as possible. This will work for $6 until I can pick up some longer blinds.

The boxes on top are empty waiting to be filled and the boxes put in today are fresh wine bottled today.

Time to rent a backhoe and dig a "wine cellar" in the back yard for.. wine..and uhhh food/guns/ammo/water/toilet paper.. you know to keep the wine safe.

Nice. I used to have a client who was a wine distributor. I enjoy wine but my Berger half doesn't drink so I probably have a vinegar collection.

I like the backhoe idea; but not at this house. We have already talked about something like that at the next house.

As for the wine collection; we are really just getting it started. This storage area will mainly be for homemade wine from recipes or kits. I do want to pick up a couple cases of investment wine though.
