Been busy around the house the last few weeks, finally got around to remembering all the shit I did lol . Power washed the house, trimmed the trees and bushes, mulched the yard, had the driveway seal coated, then picked up some freshly cut oak to split for the fall. Next on the list is another tri axle load of crushed stone to fix where it settled in the driveway back to the shop, then the rest of the summer should just be mow and go :D

A little garage organization in progress. Picked up these under counter steel cabinets from work. I agreed to pay $20 each and have taken 4 of them. Guy hasn't said a word about payment though so they may end up being free!

Sure beats having shit just laying out in the open. The garage is starting to come together and I hope to get both vehicles in there soon.

They are pretty ugly, but functional.
Nice! Go buy a laminate countertop from the Homeless Despot to put across the top. That way it'll be a little work bench and you will protect the top of the cabinets.

Thanks, goal is to have the same setup with more wooded land in another zip code once I retire. Only another 30 years lol
Whose truck is that at the end of your driveway? Looks good!

This. I have that setup in my garage and it works nicely.

This is my plan. Either that or some 2x12s. Either way, they are getting a top.

I wish I had taken a before and after picture of my garage. Looks WAY better today and a lot more organized than it was yesterday afternoon.

Go with the laminate top. Easier to clean, looks better, and will be a level surface.

I'll check them out this weekend.

The facilities guy at my office refers to them as "under counter steel" so I assume that a counter top will fit perfectly.

What's the depth of the cabinets?

Ended up having to make a late night run to the Homeless Despot for a couple of 3/4" plugs for my Aunts A/C evaporator coil. The A/C guy who installed the unit was too lazy to put these in years ago and the unit was leaking on the floor (the unit is running low on Freon so I have my A/C guy coming out today to fix it which is why there's excess water). And also, my Aunt's A/C setup is not your standard attic setup due to this house not having an attic.
I have plenty of 1/4" and 1/2" PVC fittings in my inventory but not a lot of 3/4" PVC fittings. So I loaded up on them while I was at Home Depot so hopefully I won't have to drive out of my way, late at night in the future.

Thanks! It's my buddy jay's. It's been down here for almost 3 years lol, think he lost interest in it. Needs front diff regeared and some serious rust fixing, aka frame replacement and bumpers stripped and powder coated again.

Isn't time almost up to. Have Toyota replace frames?

Yep. 2020 is it as far as I know for this region. Why I need to get off my ass and get mine inspected.

Yep haha I'll be leaving it in the rocks now. Battery was dead so had to drag it back with the tractor, and the ebrake was frozen lol

From what I read (very little) I thought it was 12 years from the date of manufacture for the 2nd gens. The recall goes up to 2010 trucks so the latest you'd have for the newest trucks would be 2022.
