meh.... I'd avoid DAP. Also I said to use a polyurethane - no idea what that crap is.

I'm a big fan of Sika products for stuff like this. While they do sell to homeowners and big box stores they aren't crappy products like most homeowner type stuff is.

DOW and SIKA are the only sealant brands I use commercially. Everyone else can suck it. Last thing I need on a jobsite is a sealant failure that creates legal and or payment issues for years. Sometimes saving a buck or a weeks time waiting for a shipment costs you more than a few bucks ad a few weeks cutting out bad caulk to replace it with good. I also find their customer service to commercial vendors to be great from both. From MSDS, testing data, to custom application instructions for specific custom job site conditions both companies are superior.

lol, I think I shop there too.

ha, so it’s very possible that I own a tool you don’t have or ever used, that would be a first.

If you reply back, and don’t have one or ever used one...

I think I’ll drink another of these Praise Jesus Coldbeers!

Mostly known as a pea sheller, bean sheller or any type of legume, in this case I’m using it on Bluebonnets pods to get the seeds out, Bluebonnets are in the legume/bean family.

That backyard looks nicer than I would have thought. Almost too classy for the Tacoma yardart :risas3:

Ummm..........thanks.....I think.?.

Will look much better once everything starts growing. Glad I waited - was 31* here last night and I could of lost the plants if I did put them in the ground this early.

I wish. Gotta get out and vote in November - then maybe next year I can plant what I'd really like to plant :shifty:

Just placed an order for a few chickens and ducks. Apparently when the tards were buying up all the TP they made a run on chicks too. Mine wont be ready until mid June. Guess that just means I have plenty of time to get a brooder and coop built lol

LOL like all these people planting gardens expecting to provide food next week. So many people have completely forgotten that the whole farmer process takes time.

Grew up with a garden and had one at every home I lived at, until I moved to SA, it just took me 5yrs and with a bit of cough and death in the news to get the motivation I needed to get one going, after starting this Victory Garden, I realized how much I missed having one.
lol and my tomatoes are now in the $70 a piece range now.

Talking with my neighbor about replacing the retaining wall between us. Its 40 years old, made from railroad ties and starting to rot. 104 feet long and 4 foot high so not looking forward to what the estimates will look like.
Company that was just here does most of the retaining walls for Chick Fil A stores in Texas and Oklahoma and will email an estimate later today.

Going to replace it with rock or brick?

Looking at material options but it will be some kind of stone or brick material.

And the first quote is in. $10k. Only thing that does not include is replacing 4 or 5 fence panels but they will set the poles. Also will have to put down 50 or so squares of sod since the wall now is covered in ivy that will get removed and the grass will go in place of the ivy bed along the top o the wall.

Do not use limestone cut blocks, the 10k quote is about $3,100 to $3,600 in materials, rest in labor and profit.

Your cheapest route is make forms, use concrete with reinforced pvc coated cattle panels or similar and epoxy coated rebar, then use flag stone and mortar as a veneer against the concrete wall (if you use bare metal/iron, the rust corrosion over time will severely crack the wall).

If you plan on moving in less than 5yrs, I wouldn’t waste the time or money on it.
