If it makes you feel any better the manufacturing process for drywall sucks too.

Luckily I did all the ceiling work I needed 15 or so years ago. All walls now.
Well i am going to scrape some of the popcorn down so it's not so aggressive, and I do have one patch to put in a bathroom where a moron decided two fans were needed.

This stuffs running quick. Mines dated 12/10/21 for my 1/2" and Oct for the 3/8"
Oh yeah, all of our plants are running 24/7 and still not able to keep up completely with demand.

What about putting a heater in where the second fan was located? Our old house had a heater in the ceiling and it was awesome!

I gotz new he ng fa hvac baby. No need for that stuff. 68* in every room but one that I cant balance. That's 69-70 in the master addition. She also runs cool in summer. Kinda ideal if I ever get to use it
It works. It just has no ground wire.

all that talk about water jet and truss made me think you were building up a solid axle for a truck
Yesterday I got the 2"x10"x13' ceiling joists up for my kitchen which got rid of the stupid pantry room that was a waste of space.
Today I got the master bedroom closet tore down and reframed. It's quite a bit bigger now and theres not a ton of wasted space now (I hate massive master bedrooms. I'm only in my bedroom to sleep or fuck.).
Put in new 2"x8"x9'L ceiling joists so I wouldn't have to put in another beam.
I've had my nephew helping me these past few days and we've been moving along (he's a hard worker).

Hopefully you've got one area you can retreat to unwind at the end of the day. Lord knows living at the jobsite can get old quick. I could never be a super for a GC after this past year +
Thankfully we are still in the rent house and not living at the house right now. The rent house is a 4 min drive away.
Yesterday my nephew and I framed out a large closet wall in the guest bedroom. It took us longer than I wanted because we were both beat and I made a stupid mistake.
We started on the truss in the attic and got the additional roof joists in.
I ended up taking the day off today. I've worked 50 hours over the past 4 days.

Finally found the right pieces (I hope) to fix my leaky tub/shower faucet in the second bathroom. Still haven't been able to find it locally so Amazon will have one here tomorrow. Kind of felt bad ordering it with shipping on Christmas Eve. But the delivery guy was still going to be working even if I didn't place the order so oh well. Hopefully that's one more thing I can check off of my list of stuff to get ready to list the house.

It was the right piece to get it working. Unfortunately it wasn't only the hot side leaking. The cold sid is leaking too. So I ordered a other one that will be here Tuesday and then I'll get it replaced as well. Then I can re-grout the master shower since we'll have another working shower.
I installed 3-1/2" Timberlok screw bolts that were designed for LVL beams in on the side that I couldn't fit my nail gun into.
Got some 2"x6"x8'L boards on the stud pack that supports the main beam holding up the middle of the house per the structural engineers drawing.
Got my truss parts grinded and painted.
I called it a day early because I'm still beat. I'm looking forward to going into work tomorrow to take a break

New stem didn't fix the cold water drip. Not sure exactly what is going on back there since there's no access panel. So new plan... Cut out the fiberglass and replace the old 1960s manifold with a new single handle tub/shower setup and cover the cutout with an escutcheon plate. If we were staying, I would just rip the whole tub out and redo everything but there's nothing actually wrong with the tub, just the faucet, so not spending the $750 for a new tub.
