Is that the house you are buying or selling?

Selling!

That's what I thought, but wasn't sure. Why put money into a house that you are selling? Buyers might not want solar screens, and they can pay for them if they do. I fully understand making repairs, but not upgrades.
Based off the construction material delays for the past couple of years, he probably ordered them a year ago and they just now came in lol 😢

Retiring at 45 only happens in the military. Outside of that very very very thin margin of people nobody retires at 45. Sorry but if you do not see how your situation is the exception to the rule that is painful.

House needed screens regardless, this is not a cheap house, I'm not normal, and all your questions are just BS, if you don't know how to market a house with simple low cost upgrades and/or fixes you probably won't retire at the age 45.
I don't think he was asking those questions in a rude tone. I think he was surprised that you still went through with the solar shade install on a house you're selling because you're fiscally responsible with your purchases.

HA, and a teacher income of 47k, military retired pay and VA income of 60k and if you think that covers everything we own, lol yeah right.

Yes. No disrespect intended. I figured you would ask the same question if the roles were reversed.

Apologize first.

I honestly know that you don't want those lower cost dollar items to be a negative, too easy of a fix to make the right impression the first time. The cost of solar screens is only pennies compared to the cost of the house.

I don't listen to the norm; "Why put money into a house that you are selling? Buyers might not want solar screens, and they can pay for them if they do. I fully understand making repairs, but not upgrades" ask yourself, do you get more money for a detailed, "maintened" car vs dirty car?

A few windows are custom sizes, once your order from any of those companies you can't back out.

Apologize for what? Go get drug tested. You better be on something today for that kind of shit.

I am happy now. This company did a really nice job making my half-assed concrete look presentable. I’ve seen very little overspray, no garbage left around my place, and they were great about closing the gate at the driveway when they left each day. Now I just need to vacuum the dust out of the pool and I can move on to the next project!

Well like @tx_shooter, I too was dragging ass yesterday and just worked through it which I paid for today. I should've stopped and called it a day a lot earlier because I woke up feeling like hell and went back to bed.

But I got a bunch more misc. shit fixed. Got material on order from McCoys, picked up a trailer load of siding, got some free windows from my mom's friend. And my special order, storm rated windows came in right at 20 weeks.

Looks good. It is tough to find good contractors.

That looks great

Thanks. Next, the pavilion is getting washed and stained by a professional because I'm not happy with how it turned out after I did it. Then, I'm sure I can manage to give the fence a fresh coat of black. That will be followed by fresh mulch and some green items in the ground and the back will be ready for summer

Well, the house is done and ready for the next owner. Everything is out and its been swept, mopped, walls scrubbed, etc, etc. I'm sore as fuck. New owner is doing her final walk through at noon tomorrow and then we're closing Tuesday morning. I just have to make a run by there tomorrow to drop off the spare keys and garage openers. Now I can focus 100% on looking for a new house. And you know... Setting up stands and feeders at my dad's new place. Have a whole list of stuff I need to get together before we go out there in a couple weeks.
