Went out duck hunting this morning with a buddy. My blind was knocked over and the roof destroyed by all the bad weather we've had lately. Ended up being a completely clear day and not getting any ducks. Sucks but its better than a day at work!
We had hundreds of geese land about 200 yard away. I've never seen geese land by my blind so it was cool to see

My neighbor invited me out today to go shoot some quail and Chukkar. I wanted to work his German shorthair. We ended up with 2 Chukkar and 8 quail. Have them marinating now to cook this evening.

Nice. They look like they need a dirt nap.
I went out coyote hunting last Friday night. They had killed 6 calves out of 60 head of cattle the past week. We were out calling them while a huge storm rolled in. We called in two of them but right as they came out, lighting flashed overhead three times and scared them off. Then the storm fully rolled in and everything hunkered down. We ended up going home empty handed but it was awesome to have them howl so close to us.

Guess I lied. Need a few more weeks. We only shot about 20 fish tonight and only got 10 in the boat. Nothing even worth taking pics of. Biggest was only about a 12lb carp. We had a monster buffalo and a couple 3+ foot gars pull off when we got them to the boat. Will try again in a week or two.

Right?! The largest I've got is a .308... But I think it will handle it. I don't think I'll try him with the bow though.

A 308 should handle him easily enough within 100 yds I would think.
