Same here. I've had one mound and my mom has had two in her yard this year. We used to get them like crazy but I think Harvey washed them all out like it did with the mosquito population

We have turkeys all over in Southern NJ. Guess the coyotes have been slacking.
Had whats sounded like at least 2-3 coyotes surround us camping two weekends ago. Soon as I heard the first yelp I started calling back then the woods exploded with yelps. I asked the city folk from Philly that were with us if they knew what the noise was then proceeded to scare the crap out of them with a few stories as their calls got closer and closer. At first I told them they had nothing to worry about then I realized the 2 women with us were 4' something tall and 100# soaking wet.... so I told them to pee together

Yeah there is a lot of great water near you. I think the Paluxy may the best. It may not be as deep as the Brazos but it has clear water, deep pools and a limestone river bed. Friday was great with kids in school I had the river to myself till around 1:30 or so and then it was only a couple of hikers crossing the river.

Finally got around to turning the rest of my deer meat into what I want.
28 pounds of bratwurst with 10 being normal, 10 having hatch chili and jack cheese, and 8 being jalapeno with mango.
9 pounds of blueberry maple breakfast sausage
6 pounds of apple, onion turkey breakfast sausage.
Last was 80/20 mix of burger grind using brisket trimmings for the fat.
