Hauled a few feeders down to my mom's property so she can watch deer. Saw 1 last night as we pulled up and a spike this morning as we finished up breakfast. The spike got a dirt nap so my moms freezer can be full. 100 yard shot from the porch.

Had a little more luck today. The rain let up enough and slipped into the field. The deer were moving like crazy. 18" wide 10 pointer with very dark antlers.

Meanwhile...I have not found a reliable place to hunt this year. The tree farm I got to go to last year has not been an option yet and I didn't see anything to shoot last year, so I'm not too upset about that one.

I need some property of my own.
