The basis of freedom of speech and e pluribus unum is much greater than 9-11 and was paid for by the blood of WAY more than passed on 9-11. I'll accept that you find little wrong with what is going on right now. I'm not in that same boat.

Until I see hard facts I don't sway either side. I also do not let politics work me up that much. I do what I can when I can.

I agree that the founding principals of our country (entire constitution) and blood lost to get where we are today far outweigh the attacks of 9/11.

I do NOT agree with politicizing the dead or terrorist attacks for political gain.

I do not accept anything. I am skeptical of everything 24/7/365. You've known me long enough to know that. You also know I rarely get worked up regarding politics and always wait for the data to come in.

Show me proof of a incident being worse than 9/11 and Ill agree with you.

If any of us in here are relying on left leaning private companies in order for their voice to be heard online ~ you can't start complaining when they cut the cord because of your opposing rhetoric.

Ive been banned by many online companies and it is what it is. I stopped supporting them and stopped using them as resources.

Unless you want those same companies taken over by the government like the commies in China and Russia do ~ lets keep the private companies private.

IMHO nothing could be worse then propping up one of those companies by staying as a member just for more clicks when you are morally opposed to that company.....kinda similar to why we are all in here

Supporting the companies you are morally opposed to just because they are the 'big ones' that offer the 'most clicks' is literally shooting yourself in the foot by supporting your own enemy's.

I h8 fakebook so I go on as little as possible, but I do stay on it. The reward for me is greater than my hatred. Am I a hypocrite ~ sure. Do I care ~ nope. I make no money off of it and use it for socializing only. Gone entire years without even logging on to it. Basically I use it to help me get laid and thats my #1 with talking to friends that have moved as #2. Other than that - I could care less about it.

Do I want fakebook split up or any governmental actions against them - Nope! I think of fakebook just like the trash magazines they have at the check out lines of the grocery store.

If the masses choose to keep their heads in the sand and believe what they see online there ~ thats their right and who am I to piss on their rights? Lord knows I do not like it when you piss on mine.

My brothers all up in arms over fakebook and it cracks me up. He gets banned every other week. Always complaining about them. Always posting crazy crap on it. For example if not for Trump, Twitter would not be half of what it is today or nothing at all. It was literally dying slowly and losing users with every passing month until he started using it as his means to communicate. He propped it up and made it is what it is the whole time knowingly supporting the enemy - now everyone cries when he gets banned. Imagine the good that could of been done had he used a right leaning company that did similar. He could of built it up to insure his voice was heard forever. By now it would of been a juggernaut. But instead he supported France then got angry when they change sides to help themselves.

I've been talking to a friend about doing just that. Except it is only talk at this point. We don't have the software or the skills to write it, nor can we decide on a name. All we can agree on is that it needs to be secure, have guidelines around account security, and not track users.

Their masses don't worry me. Been surrounded by them and their major cities my entire life.

The normies are pretty calm. Same as with the right.

Its' the overly vocal minority screaming from the roof tops that are usually the issue.

Those are the ones when I was working in Philly I'd keep an eye on, especially in stopped traffic or @ red lights or walking the city. The ones I did see and interact with would announce their presence prior to doing stupid shit because they wanted attention.

I have more than a few scared liberal friends. Crap - I also have scared conservative friends come to think about it.

All I know is if you prep/plan and do what you can there's usually less need for panic

I have been idle in the market for the past couple months, been busy trying to close on my property, catch up on various projects, holidays, then hunting etc.

I have been in the process of pulling out of funds/stocks right now, I only want abou 35% of my portfolio in the market, I see a lot of overvalue in some of the top stocks found in the S&P 500 stocks, that concerns me.

Trump is out today, Biden is on a death watch before Harris gets sworn in as POTUS. Covid needs to go away for the plan to keep moving...

I got $20 on it not happening as everyone has laid out in regards to conspiracy theories. I DO NOT believe the hype. And I'm not kidding - if this is real I got $20 on the status quo remaining the same for at least a minimum of a year.

Based on what I'm seeing and hearing up here this is not going to instantly "blow over" because we swapped out "old farts in their 70's" from our top political spot.

People have been indoctrinated on both sides pretty well so I don't see anything changing anytime soon short of a medical miracle.

The vocal minorities on both sides will continue to try and draw in their 'comrades' so they can start a "revolution", but I am hopeful the masses will see through the smoke and call them out for what I think they really are.

When you are feeling down just look back at all the court seats we got at local and state levels. That should make you feel better because thats where the majority of laws that will actually effect you are written and we hit a grand slam home run the past two elections in those regards.

No one wants to openly say we packed the courts, but we did. and no I'm not talking about the court of supreme morons...thats another thing like the president that gets all the media. Sure they both have 'power', but the smaller courts effect everyone in their day to day lives much more then those two figureheads do.

One does not go to the supreme court unless the lower courts failed. Stack the lower and who cares about the upper.... I mean I care, but not nearly as much.
