I was playing paintball all weekend at a 4,500 person Normandy invasion recreation (Probably 6k people there). All the LEO's I saw were on their tippy toes and I wouldn't of wanted to trade places with them for the world. I am certain there were some extremist groups within our ranks. Some of the guys take it a little far (wearing full blown SS uniforms).

The SS deal is really making a statement and is fucked up. ...but not much different than a black lives matter saying "Fry 'em like bacon."

I saw more swastikas and SS symbols this past weekend than I ever will anywhere else in public (same as last years event). Go to bed Friday night and everyone has American flags flying. Wake up Saturday morning to being surrounded by Germans. Our team was made up of whites/blacks/Asians/Spanish/Jews/Christians/non-beleivers so we just hated everyone equally. The best was the Russians who we were talking to one day (6 of them came over from Russia for this event) and were dressed up as SS. That irony blew my mind....I guess more than our citizens doing the same.

Morning Glory was once the Skinhead Capital of the World. I know what those guys look like. Back in the day I can remembering more than one Oktoberfest I decided to leave due to the density of SS tatt on necks and people that were obviously dressed to fight. Reminded me of the ultra-violence crowd.

Obama Mentions Himself 45 Times During Memorial Speech For Dallas Officers

President Obama referred to himself 45 times over the course of the speech he delivered Tuesday at the memorial service for the five police officers killed in Dallas last week.

Obama referred to himself twice before finishing his opening salutations and before mentioning the slain officers or their families. After noting the presence of President Bush, members of Congress and Dallas mayor Mike Rawlings, Obama appeared to go off-script.

“Chief Brown, I’m so glad I met Michelle first because she loves Stevie Wonder,” Obama said, jokingly referencing Dallas Police Chief David Brown’s earlier speech in which Brown quoted lyrics from the song “As” in tribute to the deceased. The president looked around the room, pointed at Brown and cracked a grin while the audience laughed at and applauded his joke. “Most of all, the families…” Obama said, proceeding with his speech.

Obama would refer to himself 43 more times throughout the speech — most of which he personally wrote, according to the LA Times — including one instance where he referred to himself in the third-person: “the president.”

Thats the problem with bleeding hearts who always want their kids to have it better than they had it. Evolving our society into.......Idiocracy. Everyone should know what a hard days work is. I was walking around Penn States campus yesterday and I see a drastic difference between the people I see there in the summer vs normal semester. Looked like a TON more minorities/immigrants going to school in the summer while I can only assume their US counterparts are passed out next to kegs at the shore houses their parents rented them.

Although I never served looking back it's one of my biggest regrets. I really think the Israeli model of mandatory military service is a good idea to increase patriotism and help our current lack of work ethic. Clearly whatever we are doing now isn't working. Ive never seen so many self loathing anti patriotic youth.

The Dutch had a mandatory military service model as well. Although it was a bit more... well Dutch. You would see the people who wanted to be there and they looked the part. Then you would see the guy that was forced to be there and he had hair down to the middle of his back. Uniform looked like shit.
