I have always enjoyed pointing out the moral conflict of snowflakes who support apple.

Wal-greens is going back to using burglar bars on their windows according to my glass guy. They don't have nearly the amount of break-ins due to just the look of the steel cage over the window. By not having that cage, people assume that the can be easily broken. They usually hit it one or twice with a hammer and run off.I love how the media not only reports on the robbery - it also informs the public on how to replicate it
Freaking morons..... Burglars cut through bulletproof glass of pharmacy window

When you own the media, you own peoples minds. That is all.

wtf... a company with some common sense?
Reminds me of all the BR windows I used to sell when I was a sub. It was all about perception. Bank teller windows able to take shots from a 7.62 but they would just surround the window with normal drywall on the sides/above/below.
Honestly, most security offices and schools are like that. My buddy installed bullet proof glass on the exterior door of a school, but the existing interior door remained the same since they didn't want to pay for the extra cost of bullet proof glass. Makes no sense...

And Wal-greens only changed this policy after replacing 6-7 windows![]()
Are you sure they didn't put in lead shielded sheetrock? It will look the same as regular sheetrock when installed.Sadly perception is some peoples reality when it comes to safety.
Been on a job when I was a sub where we installed leaded glass and leaded frames to shield from radiation. The walls we put them into were not shielded. I feel bad for those techs that get radiation poisoning at work, but the walls fall under the carpenters, so I just sigh.
Reminds me - when I was getting all my dental work done the tech giving me my x-rays tried to take them one time without the leaded blanket. I immediately said - no way - you need to get the shield. She said - it's the same radiation of getting sunburn. I replied - I sell radiation protection products and I know the real story - please get the blanket.

Jesus...Yep.
Our frames captured the rock so I could see "through" it. No lead.
Due to lack of proper parenting....
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - The Texas House has voted to require high schools to provide instruction on how to best interact with law enforcement in situations like traffic stops.
The bill passed via voice vote Friday and can clear the House with final approval expected Saturday.
It comes after a series of violent encounters between police and the public that made national news. Sponsored by two FUCKING IDIOTS, also know as Democratic senators, a similar version passed the Senate in March.
Supporters want to teach students what's expected of them when stopped by police. The bill requires instructions for officers on their responsibilities, too.
It would have state education and law enforcement officials develop a curriculum for the 2018-2019 school year. The instructions would also be required in future driver's license instruction books and part of driver education courses.
Will they be passing a bill soon to teach respect? How much did their friends make from the passage of said bill?FIFY
