Harder to establish unions here
and general lower cost of living outside the cities. If it weren't for your weather and my mom being in poor health I would of made a move a while ago. Most of the industry seems to be south TX. I melt at any temps over 90*
Gonna be a very sad day when we have a Democrat governor.
If we can elect a republican gubner here, I would not be surprised if TX did the opposite. Heck half the time I vote for local elections the dems run unopposed. Alwasy makes me frown, but at the same time I'm not willing to throw myself into the mix so I can't complain that much.
We are coming to a point where I am slowly becoming open to moving to another country. If we keep doubling down on bad decisions this is not going to go well for a long time.
Doubtful I'd make a move like that, but I'm ready to GTFO of NJ ASAP. Almost 40 years of being surrounded by voters with opposing views has me
The longer I live, the more I have a greater understanding for those that gravitate to a 10' x 10' shack in the woods.
My plan, except I hope to build a little smaller than 20 x 20 for tax, building permit, general big bro red tape evasion. Anything under 400sqft of living space and laws get lax. Then a few outbuildings to supplement the lack of sqft in the living space.
