I got to work around some armored Suburbans a few times. The door/ window/ hatch modifications to those things are crazy. Those things are about as stock as the Dirt Squirrel.

And I get some work on a few smaller vehicles that are armored and I wish I could say I was never whacked by a gravity fed closing door! I can only imagine how heavy the tire/wheel combo is!!! I would love to see the brakes on those things - I wonder if they have compression releases.

Gubment job I was supposed to be done by now and haven't started yet is now in breach of my contract. For weeks I was just pushing it a week, but now they will need to pay re-mobilization costs and interest. At this point in my life I'm turning anti gubment regardless of who is at the helm. My guess is that the enrollment in local militias has gotta be up double digit percentages the past 20 years. I'll never be one of those guys, but I am starting to understand how people become them.

While in Home Depot this morning I saw a guy with a shirt that said, "Union, Kids and Wife - in that order." All I could think was, that is a very good reason to not like unions. I use a MacBook, a Dell touch screen, a Note 5 and an iPhone 6s+. I love the Apple hardware quality (except I think the Note has a WAY better fingerprint reader) but the incessant reminder to send Apple money through the iCloud storage is wearing. It's like a 6 year old asking for money for something silly. I use Google, look through all of my drawers - no child porn here - drive storage.
