Is that even a legal option where you are?

If the parts are designed in a way for fishing, I don’t see why not, heaven forbid if all the lures, tools and parts actually made something.

shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit...... I just read it's unlwaful to have an "unregistered assault rife" in NJ... now I need to go look that crap up because I don't buy anything in state unless I am forced to buy it in state.

In the past registration was not mandated, now I need to see if they change the defenition of "assault rifle" in NJ. Next thing you know my 10-22 will be one of the banned "mean black assault rifles" lol

I H8 NJ...wonder if I can get that as a license plate?

No way in hell I would ever register them with the state. It would be Waco all over again. Someone seriously needs to do that in one of these commie states. I promise you if every confiscation was a gun fight they would think twice before making these stupid rules. It's time we start to fight back

People will start fighting back and cops will eventually have to side with the taxpayers. A lot of Sheriffs have come out publicly and said they will not enforce these guns laws as they are a violation of your constitutional rights. One sheriff even went so far as to say he'll block your door to any Feds trying to come in to get your lawfully bought guns.
My buddy who's a police officer said he'll quit the force before he tries to go get peoples guns.

I'm forced to register any/all pistol purchases. The only way I can "own" a unregistered handgun is if it is handed down to me from a blood family member.

Cool - my rifles are safe as of now. Just looked it up. I am not forced to register any long arms purchases that my state allows. Key word is allows as my state bans what they have deemed too be "assault rifles". They list specific long arms and it fills a page. If it's not on the list and has a folding stock, mag that holds more than 6, and a pistol grip ~ I can't have that either unless I had it prior to 1991 and registered it in the 1 year following the "Assault rifle" law being enacted (NLT 1992) lol

This has me thinking... Back in 04 when I bought my XD it came with a spent shell case. At the time I was under the impression the bullet was saved for NJ's ballistics lab. Looking back now I wonder what is really going on and why they wouldn't just keep the case as well? Any of you XD owners have similar happen in TX? It was in a small envelope from Springfield.

I also received a 10 meter target that had 4 rounds shot through it that could be completely unrelated testing by Springfield.

My kind of Sheriff!

My libtard police chief sits on my pistol purchase permits he has to sign off on until I call and complain. Ive been told by some of his subordinates that's how he rolls. You apply and if you don't complain - you never get your permits.

Honestly, if they changed the laws tomorrow, and you had to register everyone of your guns or be a felon, would you?

When all the illegal allies are registered, I’ll register my fishing gear, until then I will continue use my unmarked gill nets.

Most all of my pistols have come with at least one spent case from the initial test fire. Years ago I ran into a guy from Bond Arms (Texas derringer company) who was test firing firearms. He was leaving all the cases in the deeringers as proof of testing. I have always assumed the same was true for other firearms I have purchased.

This. It's just proof that the gun was test fired.

Lets just say there is a reason I legally buy all my long arms out of state with cash.

I was wondering because the envelope says tech/"collector"

They also gave me a target with 4 shots into it
