Honestly Ive never purchased a glass product from them in my career so while I know the name - to me I always think of them in regards to packaging and chemicals.
I know they had a blow otu with Sika and IMHO Sika makes some of the best urethane's available to the market. I did my sidewalk joints in them a decade ago and to this day they are still looking good.
PPG just sold all of their glass assets to a Mexican company a couple years ago so they could focus on their paint and chem lines. Now the best glass in the country has the profits going back to Mexico. Their sand quarry is less than a couple hundred miles away so I'm forced to use them on LEED jobs where materials can not exceed 500 miles transpo.
