I can see all the hippies in the woods now ~ They all have 2' long beards (guys and gals) and wonder why they are still getting sick with their masks on

doesn't hurt to be prepared though, I’m just waiting for extra filters to be delivered Feb. 8th, but like I said those carbon N99 replacements are cheaper than disposable masks, so I may have a 5yr supply of yard masks,

Hell if my kids get sick again, I will be wearing a mask, because parents don’t read the signs in the Dr. office, and Dr. office don’t enforce their own rules to use face masks if your running a fever or sneezing!
Last week at the Dr. office/Urgent care, I waited outside until my son could be seen, I put a mask on him before we left the house. I told him, I’m the last person in this house that does not need to get sick. Strep and Flu hit the schools and are last week. Let’s just say there was 3 - 4 kids and 3 adults in there with the same type symptoms, because I overheard when folks were checking in. When I was called to pay my copay, I told the receptionist to enforce their mask rule, and when he was called back to a room, I told the nurse and Dr., I was a bit pissed about the unhealthy atmosphere there. I reminded the Dr. he shares space with 2 other Dr.’s that are not related to the Urgent care side, and the other patients visiting orthopedics etc., puts their elderly patients at risks.
Ok back to the coronavirus... iirc, the transmission rate is estimated 2.5x to 3x more than spread the flu, it may take until August or September before this starts to spirals down, compared to previous outbreaks with SARS and MERS, of course this depends how quick they are able to create a vaccine within next 10days, and how many get sick over the 2 weeks., a lot of unknown factors.
