They prob write off the closure or some weird loophole or litigious crap they are trying to avoid. Our Philly Wawa's have armed guards and so do a ton of our banks - and this was all pre covid & pre riots.
Wawa's only branch thats not open 24hrs I am told is inside Philly and they shut down every night early to avoid the city's night crowd on normal days. I drove by that store today and she was boarded up tight and closed down.
At least I'm glad they are going after retail stores vs US historic locations. Rather lose a Target store than the Liberty Bell or similar.

They hit up Philly's one statue of an old racist mayor we used to have. Thing costs us more to keep up and clean every day so I'd just take it down. Guy was a mayor not a god or a hero.
I'm fine with them getting rid of any southern monuments that were installed by the United Daughters of the Confederacy in the 1900's to promote racism.
Anything installed shortly thereafter the war within 10-20 years should remain IMHO as a historic monument.
I'm not falling for that "we did it for southern pride" crap when a known racist organization put them up 100+ year later to divide our country from within when they got pissed at the yanks. All this divisive crap does is make us a weaker country.

Now I know why Trump is blasting Philly.... It's Biden's campaign HQ. Biden started a live speech at city hall at 10am today - great timing you jackass. Just called my guys a block away and said if you see or hear anything popping off to GTFO of dodge ASAP.

Not surprised. That's 4 blocks away from where the residents took to the streets to protect their Target store. They don't mess around down there. I used to work about 5 blocks away from there for about a year.

Already been going on since they started putting them out. Just about every retail store in the country has bollards out front to stop the smash and grab of ATM's that started in FL many years ago. Guys only got caught because when the safe flying through the air it took out one of the guys legs and they left him for dead. Those were always good video's to watch. In and out in like 30 seconds.
The whole IED thing is disturbing.

At least they settled finally. I really didn't like the sound of my #1 urethane producer falling apart when Saint Gobain bought them. I'm not a fan of the saint. Been using sika for many years w/o issues...the saint not so much - pretty much an issue with everything they have including when I did their US HQ

Good to know they are raising capital. They have been doing a lot of purchases and take overs for a while now. Time to refill the coffers.
