Fluke 1587 FTW! But for those that don't need insulation meters, the 117 is a great meter for home/garage use.
Definitely can't afford the Fluke 1587 lol I'm looking at the Fluke 17B+ right now.

I feel like an old man now lol picked up a work apron for heavy grinding and painting. I ruined a new heavy duty work shirt after grinding all day so this will help prevent that from happening again.

you're not old for having an apron....just old for how you wear it

tied around the waist = young/fit

tied over the shoulders = old/fat

I kid I kid...Ive been needing suspenders on my ski pants for years. Maybe this year Ill take the plunge lol

I broke my Cresent micro snips, my fault. Cutting something too thick. Replaced them and added another set.

I order them.. Buy the crimpers first. They are far and away the best crimpers I've ever owned. The Channel lock pliers are far superior to the Cresent brand as well.

I'm drunk at the moment so I'm gonna stay off of Amazon and stay far away from ordering tools. But next time I'm in need of something, I'll check out their offerings.

You and @Anathollo are gonna make me have to give Knipex a try. Is there a store that carries them or do y'all order them?

Home Depot had a daily deal on them a few days ago, many of the sets sold out by evening time.

I thought they got rid of Knipex...the Home Despots by me just have a massive Milwaukee selection and a small Cresent selection now

I usually order them off Amazon. I got the previous ones on my trip to Germany because they are slightly cheaper there (made in Germany). I love mine, especially the micro snips and Cobra pliers. Those are my go-to tools. I use the Cobra pliers on damn near everything.

Just got myself one of these last week. Had one 10 years ago, but it was company property.

Worth it's weight in gold for what I do. Anyone who needs to do precise measuring of multiple items a day I'd recommend them to. I have laser measuring devises, laser grids, and tape measures but this is far better when by yourself. No need to be on your hands and knees shooting a laser up or on a ladder shooting one down. Tape measures are pretty much useless by yourself in large openings. Leave it to the Swiss to make this stuff. No one else comes close to accuracy/quality for the cost.
