That's Mr Asshole to you
10k yes. 100k Hell no. If Zillow is even right about the listing he had many routes to get it fixed before letting it get foreclosed. We have family that is loaded and has loaned him cash in the past.

I don't think I could handle the stress associated with making 130k in payroll a month + all the union BS + the thought of having 2 million in unpaid invoices on the street at any one time.

I'm fine with helping each company I work for get better from my managerial positions so long as they let me make changes and better the place. So long as the boss isn't a total asshole I don't mind making them rich.

BS.... Never met one I didn't like :)
I can get you paid on those invoices right away so they are not sitting out there for 60 or 90 days.
This is the business I am in. Factoring if you are not familiar with it. No bank loans or anything like that.

I appreciate the kind thoughts, but I take on enough of ownership's tasks around here and I'm not looking for any more.

Just got the Stabila LAX300G in and I'm liking it initially. Better operating temp rating so hopefully I don't need to bring it my house every night in winter to keep it warm. DeWalt never liked being in my car overnight in winter and would shoot error messages for 30 minutes until it warmed up.

I can stick it in a corner and it shoots a vertical laser throughout the opening. The entire opening including behind it. I thought that was marketing BS, but it actually works. The rear laser is not nearly as bright as the main laser, but it works.

Those are very over exaggerated marketing pics. I wish it looked like that when I turned it on.

I'm not overly impressed with the quality and fit of the plastic. Seems to be on par with my Stabila laser measure'r that I had to fix with some superglue. Time and use will tell if it holds up. If it holds up we may transition from crappy Bosch throw aways to these.

Oh and the magnet is crap. Only laser level I have had that held through 5/8" rock to the steel studs behind it was my old PLS. This things got worse magnets than the DeWalt I just handed down.

New Tool Thursday? Took 5 days to come in...ended up getting a free month of Prime because of it.

Glad I finally have a 1/2" electric impact! But damn if this thing isn't bulky/not balanced correctly, even with the battery on it. Makes my hands feel tiny lol At least it's a helluva lot more compact than the 1/2" corded electric impact that I was using.

and it's made in the USA... pretty sure none of the old DeWalt stuff I have was US made so thats a cool shift in production.

It just means "assembled" in the USA. So 99% of it can be built in China, shipped over to the states where an illegal worker installs the last little part and packages it. Then it qualifies as made in America sadly.

It's the big one.

I don't need the smaller 1/2" impact since I already have an older brushed 3/8" DeWalt impact gun which I love and use constantly. Honestly, I wished they would've released a new more-compact brushless 3/8" impact instead of the smaller 1/2" impact. I don't need all that power in a small package, I need a smaller drill overall to get into tight spaces.

China has a province/state named USA as well, they have done very well to scrub it off Google search engines. Products made there, also Made in USA, total scam....

I've got the Milwaukee version of both of those impacts. Big one lives in my garage for auto work, smaller one in my truck for lag bolts, concrete anchors, structural bolts etc. Love em both.

Yep I'm stuck in the DeWalt lineup at this point.

Both make good shit but once you buy into the batteries you are pretty much stuck.

Got another 9.0 battery. Unless I'm doing really heavy grinding or cutting I have been able to completely switch away from using my corded grinders to using cordless. I use the Milwaukee string trimmer for my 1 acre property and can do the entire thing on less that one battery. It's truly incredible how far battery technology has came this decade.

Really? Which tools were that much better to make you switch?

Not necessarily that they're better. My Milwaukee stuff is all older. I'm not running out tomorrow to replace it all. But as I buy new tools or replace them it will be with DeWalt. I really like the FlexVolt system they're using. All the 20v stuff will charge on the 60v chargers and vice versa. Also could allow me to use the same batteries for yard equipment too (weed eater, chainsaw, mower, etc) if I ever wanted to do that.

But the 60V grinder IS leaps and bounds better than my 18V Milwaukee at home. But like I said, it's older and not the brushless FUEL model. I'm sure those are much better than my old Milwaukee one.
