Definitely not doing legal. We have that on the 4r (35%) and it's not near dark enough for my taste. The other truck has 20% on it and is much better.

Legal is 25 in Texas I think so if you have 35 you can go darker.
Once the sammich maker is done with her PTA license it is in the discussions again - until then it is all practice.
I need to get my 4Runner tinted. Probably should do the Tacoma too just so my sammich maker does not feel left out.

Ive never had anything good from Ryobi. I forget what POS company made my bandsaw, but I think it was Ryobi and it sucks.
After trashing Bosch last month one of you guys reminded me they made good routers then I remembered my roomate's Bosch router kicking ass when I used it.
You can also rent tools and buy them used so you don;t have to buy a brand new tool.

My $0.02
1) just remember darker = hotter
2) you guys can go up to 25% reflectivity or something like that so I'd make sure whatever you get uses as much reflectivity as possible because that will be in direct correlation w/how hot your truck gets. do not mix this term up with visible light transmission - they are two totally different ratings.

I have like 15+ Bosch tools and I don't have a single bad word to say about any of them, Don't have a Bosch laser though so I can't speak for all of them.

I've done the 20% ceramic tint on all rides.. its supposedly 90% UV resistant. Did the "clear" UV tint on the front window of the wifes new ride in addition to the 20% dark on the sides and you can tell a difference. Her last car was the same model but without the front tint and you can tell a difference. Interior is cooler despite the exterior color being darker.

I actually think its like 26% tint or some weird number, law states can't be lower than 20% so they (tint manufacturer) think the OEM will have some slight tint on it so they adjust.

This is what I've been looking at doing before next summer. It gets so hot sitting in the parking lot at work for 12 hours. A sunshade barely helps.
So that is the benefit of having kids? That could be tempting.
