I hope they are going to maintain their quality or I'd say it's a bad move. Only company I know of that hasn't dumb'd down products for big box stores need for low prices is Hilti.

All this talk about German mfg just reminded me I ordered over 1k in custom stainless steel "tools" from the Norway many months ago. Ship date prior to Covid was supposed to be 4/20. Guess it's time to check on that order.

Amazon got me with their "similar to" marketing. I picked up this Milwaukee M12 1/4 driver for $44 for just the bare tool. Lightweight and will be nice to have a spare drill on some of these projects.

Covid or not screw them... never received any sort of updates nor any product. All "in stock" products suppose to ship within 1 business day. Order was placed the day after Christmas and Ive received NADA. Only two items I purchased out of the 22 items ordered showed as being out of stock on my order confirmation. Time to call Norway I guess.....

Having my cash overseas for half a year really makes me start to wonder. Good news is I have their banking info due to the international transaction and the company is 100% legit for sure. Bad news is it's hard to make a claim for a purchase half a year later lol

Damn that sucks!

I've got a $20k sliding table saw on order that just shipped from Italy for work. It was supposed to have shipped in March but the Beer virus delayed that until this past week. It's literally been made, crated for shipping and just sitting at that companies dock since March. Freaking sucks.

If I don't hear back from them today Ill put them on blast and not withhold their company name anylonger. Right now who knows whats going on.

Italy hu? Hope you ordered spare parts lol

They make some crazy ass machinery but if the Forvet made 6 head 3 axis (X/Y/Z) glass CNC I used to work on is any reflection of their skillz..... their stuff is very temperamental. I used to run one of these bad boys from Italy when I worked for Oldcastle.... Only good thing was the programing was easy to do for it compared to others

Yeah the main thing is new motor belts every 6 months and saw blades that we send out to get sharpened when needed. Our current saw is pretty much wore out as it's been used daily for 20 years. It's having a hard time staying square on the lumber slider.

We just got a new saw...and it was also delayed lol

Think it's a 24" upcut. So nice to have actual professional equipment vs using a prosumer DeWalt slide saw to cut aluminum. I can't think of a way to make it any more dangerous then to use a slide saw cutting gummy ass sticky melty aluminum. I had it catch on me a couple times cutting thick ass handrail base too fast when the teeth got full of melted aluminum then came to an abrupt stop. tell you one thing - that will wake you up lol
