How are you doing that? Bad pads?
Going to pull it apart - I am kind of hoping that the caliper mount has something on the mounting bosses that have caused the caliper to be mounted on an angle. Getting out the dial indicator now.Pull those pad/rotor and measure/mic the surface and see if they are sloped, you probably need a new brake caliper as well
This article suggests that my wheels will accommodate these calipers. I shall see.

Which truck are you putting it on? That is the Tundra Brake Upgrade that is pretty popular for 1st gen Tacomas and 3rd gen 4Runners. I believe this specific swap is possible due to the calipers being a direct bolt in. This can be done with some 16" rims; some require spaces, some do not. I am looking to do this upgrade to my 4R pretty soon.
Lots of TBU specific info here: Hard to find Specs, Info & Measurements on 231mm 13WL Tundra Calipers & Rotors - Toyota 4Runner Forum - Largest 4Runner Forum
All of the parts necessary are readily available from RockAuto, and the same upgrade can also be performed on FJ Cruisers, third-generation (1996-2002) 4Runners, and second-generation (2006-2015) Tacomas.
I like the idea of no core charge. - Off to pick up a 13WL for a fit check. This is the kit I am looking to purchase. I will probably repaint the calipers before mounting them up.

Let's make sure it fits and STOPS first.Post pics and start a new upgrade thread. I know there are more than a few 2nd gen Tacomas that would do a brake upgrade cheap.
