I was pretty close. I was figuring 40-45 degrees. I am a little surprised it does not extend to above the rack bars. How do you like it so far with your drive to work?

I've noticed no increase in wind noise, so I'm pretty happy.
That's pretty darn impressive for a rack of that size with so many cross bars. My (2) "Areo" cross bars on my Subaru make a good deal of wind noise at highway speeds.
To be fair, I already had a bit of wind noise to begin with, this just didn't make it worse. I think I need to replace my driver's door weatherstripping, actually.![]()
to be fair I have no front fairing so the bars get direct wind
@unevolved make sure you check on those boot clamps for the next few days. I never had good luck with them and just went to using hose clamps. I keep an extra set of hose clamps (one large & one small) along with some grease just in case I ever need to re-pack a CV boot so I can make it back home or I can replace a lost clamp.
Your kings don't have clearance for the hose clamps?Yeah I bought the "tool" to tighten those clamps.. I still wasted a couple clamps. Before I went Kings my old Fox 2.0's would allow me to use hose clamps.
Also you have the RCV axles so I bet those are thicker as well.Mmmm ok TIL.RCV axle shafts are pretty much same diameter, just built from 300m with Chromoly inner and outers.
looking for the locker update.
