How hard were those CVs to replace. I have to do it to my uncles.
Pretty easy. CV axle nut, ball joint nut, nut that holds strut to LCA. Remove/Replace. Thing that sucked was the new Vatozone CV. The axle clip was too big/shaped like an egg and it would NOT go in all the way. So we pulled it back out.. swapped with the old OEM clip and it went right in. If you are on the ground doing it as I was, putting the ball joint back into place was a 2 man job as was lining the LCA and strut assembly holes. It just doesn't flex much so it helped to have a second set of hands to move things around or pry down on things. There is a Youtube video showing how to do it, in the video the guy is breathing heavy at the end.. we laughed because we thought he was being a pussy.
