What have you done to someone else's ride lately?

I've done a similar air inlet tube duct tape mod before. LOL.. Todd and Robbie helped diagnose the issue at Long Ranch one time. Damn 85 4Runner would NOT idle and then it just wouldn't run. Todd found the large crack in the underside of the inlet tube. Looked all normal from above. Anyhow, a little duct tape later and vroom vroom! That being said I may have used 1/20 the amount of tape that is on that one. LOL

Swapped out a fuse on my wife's Volvo. The fuse for her cigarette outlet was a 15A so I was kinda surprised it popped. Luckily her car uses the same fuses as my Tacoma. It wasn't a lot of fun being upside down underneath the glove box but it was definitely easier to access than other cars I've worked on lol

But it was kinda surprising to see that she has 6 small fuse boxes on that car...

lol she says it was her phone charger but I'm thinking it might've been some coffee or tea by accident. I'll see if it happens again.

Edit..... and that guy...^^^^ is going to hell lol

My Subaru has 10 & 20 amp for the cigarette lighters. I was surprised the high one is in my arm rest and the weak one is in the center consul.

That's random. I wonder what else they have tied into that 20A fuse...

Fuse box and manual say they are by themselves, but I'm doubtful.

Helped the neighbor swap out u-joints tonight. I really wasn't in the mood to get dirty (just installed the bumper last night and I was worn out) but I watched them use one of my big vises to press out one half of a u-joint. After that I said.. hey. use the 20 ton press. 45 minutes later both were done. Easy peasy. BTW, those 2000+ Chevy Silverado aluminum driveshafts are LIGHT. Damn!!

Nice; if I was not going to be in Arlington working on a 3rd install this weekend I was going to be drilling holes for my press.

What third was it? 8 or 8.4? One of the guys I know blew out his 8.4 with the ol TW burn out mod. 1 tire was on the road and 1 was not. Slammed the gas and by by 8.4. it was the first 8.4 I had seen destroyed.
