What have you done to someone else's ride lately?

God I want 35s but I'm too much of a pussy to cut the fenders.

Let me clarify, I think I could do a well enough job that would satisfy most if not all people; I'm just worried it won't be good enough for ME.

It was a pain in the ass that's for sure. my skinny 36s cleared so much easier than these 315 toyos. We had to beat his firewall so far back I was worried it was going to fall off the jack stands lol

He beat them back so far he can't use his parking brake. LOL

Joking, in all seriousness I still am amazed you got those under there. :headbang:

I should have taken before and after pictures of the kick panel inside for shits and grins, oh well lol. It was an all day marathon, plus those tires were fuggin' heavy. Pulling the coilover is the way to go. The only place it rubs at full stuff and lock is the top of the fenderwell where the battery sits, but that area is smooth so it should "self clearance" haha. I told him to buy a few CVs and tie rods, with that amount of weight it won't be long before something in the front end snaps.

Already on 34s @Silverback and they're the best tires I've ever owned. Can't complain but always looking up!

What 36" tires did you have that were skinny? I've been looking for a slim 35 and can't find anything. Right now I'm on the KO2 34/10.5/17 and it's great. Would love something similar with a slightly bigger diameter. Right now the only thing I even remotely touch is the mudflap but it's minimal and only when mid lock turn.

TSL radials. They are around 10.5" wide mounted on an 8" wheel

But those TSL's are not really a DD tire like your BFG KO's. Just keep that in mind.

42" Pit Bulls are the new 35s. The only option I see is 42s for you.

That's very true. The tread does last a long time though I was surprised. Mine are starting to chunk pretty bad but these tires are almost 7 years old lol. They are actually less noisy than my toyo MTs were

Helped a buddy swap a CV on his Tacoma. First time I have actually done an entire CV swap on my own. Went smooth and was good practice for me since I have a leaky boot.

With enough practice this can be a 30 minute swap. LOL

It is not a war crime the first time.

Sad to say it; but yeah. When I was swapping axles and CVs a lot last year I could swap a CV in roughly 45 mins to include a getting tools together. Thankfully I have not had to do it in a while; but I should swap one pretty soon.

Helped Jeff get this bumper put on today. It's an Ebay knock off All Poo

. Had to do some modifications like notch for an AC line and bend a part that got damaged in shipping. For less than $600 shipped and painted it seemed like a decent deal. Quality could have been better but you get what you pay for.
