Murphey's Law; those fuel pumps never fail with an empty tank. The 1992 F150 I drove for a while had a fuel pump go out within minutes of filling the fuel tank.
I bet your wallet isn't happyPut new shoes on the wifes XC-90. Michelin Pilot Sports.. 275/40 21's. Looks pretty good.

That's about all I ever hot out of them on both of my expeditions too. Supposedly they were good for 60kI bet your wallet isn't happy
I'm about to have to put another set of tires on my S60 because the Michelin's are only making it to an average of 25-30k miles. Probably gonna try some continental's next.

The LTX M/S got 60k if you took care of them but yeah these lower tier Michelin's aren't lastingThat's about all I ever hot out of them on both of my expeditions too. Supposedly they were good for 60k![]()
They always blamed it on my dirt roads and wouldn't honor the warrantyThe LTX M/S got 60k if you took care of them but yeah these lower tier Michelin's aren't lasting
Yup, The Laundry Fairys set lasted 60k, and the new defenders that got put on last year now come with a 70k warranty. The LTX M/S got 60k if you took care of them but yeah these lower tier Michelin's aren't lasting

I am not sure there are any "good" tires on the market today that are as good as they were 5 or 10 years ago.
Wifes XC90 threw a "Start/Stop Service Required" warning light. As I expected the first thing to check is the aux battery (small 10Ah battery to help with the engine shutting off at lights and restarting). Anyhow, I tried to charge it.. says its charged. Battery tester says its "good".. but light is still on. So.. ordered a new battery (AGM).. cheaper than a trip to the dealer for them to sell us a new battery for $200 plus a $200 install.. not to mention when can they get us in. So anyhow, I'll install the new battery tomorrow and hope for the best.
Well that cheap ass battery I bought on Amadong lasted just over a year. Same error... so this time I went with a better option. Noco lithium battery.

Hope mine lasts longer. Its super small... thats what she said. But we'll see, it may be too small despite the page saying its a replacement for the current battery. Worst case it goes in the shed as a power supply for lights and rechargeable items that is charged with a solar panel.
Still holding up? I went to go ride my bike this morning and the battery was flat. Thinking of just replacing it with something lighter weight and this brand popped up along with another one called Tykool. Both have good reviews and weigh about 1/2 what my current one doesWell that cheap ass battery I bought on Amadong lasted just over a year. Same error... so this time I went with a better option.
