Just use a piece of 2"x4" like @thekidcatcherActually looking at what I can do for a waterproof box setup for it; or at least a water resistant box.

Why did you take the electric fan off?Did a coolant flush, took out my E-Fan and put the OEM fan and shroud back on saturday night. Took me an hour to get the 4 nuts on the fan due to the shroud and how thick my arms are. That is a job for a tall thin guy which I am not.
My alternator is definitely happier without the E-fan sucking power from it and there is a slight loss of power when I accelerate but it's not terrible.
I've had it on the truck for maybe a 100k miles? I think the brushes in the fan are going out. It used to keep the truck at a steady 190°-192° degrees but lately it can't keep the truck cool. I was having over heating issues being loaded down and cruising 80mph to and from Colorado. I think it was also taking more power to run. When I get in the truck, my secondary battery would be at 11V because the fan runs for a bit after the truck is shut off. Now when I hop in my truck, the secondary battery is at 12V. It didn't use to take that much power. Why did you take the electric fan off?
Oh. I fixed my rear brakes. Grip way better and the e brake is tighter than a 12 year old

Maybe water tight was the wrong description. I am thinking something help keep water off the terminals and cables to try to keep corrosion down.
Water tight battery box? You've got a lot more things to be concerned about if you are worried about the battery getting wet!![]()
Did you take the drum off and adjust them? Or did you use the adjustment on the back of the drum?Oh. I fixed my rear brakes. Grip way better and the e brake is tighter than a 12 year old
I lost one of the keys to the wifes new Q70L... word to the wise. Don't lose those. They are NOT cheap!
Why did you own up to losing the key? Did she have proof?
