Well these tires were great today in the mud, dirt, and rocks. I also put the false beadlock to work. I will try to clean it up with a file.
@SilverbackWhat tire size are you going with?
Nice!Fuck.. I posted but I guess it didn't take. 285/75-17's 34's
Oh I remember the days when I thought I could do that. I know I've posted pics of some of my rings. I know I've also mentioned that a good friend that designed those wheels once said, "Finally, someone that used these wheels in the manner in which they were meant to be used."Well these tires were great today in the mud, dirt, and rocks. This is why I love these wheels.I saw that ring and started laughing that it looked like one of your pics. I did not realize I was grinding the ring into the rocks; but I am glad the rocks did not tear up the actual wheel or tire.
Time to cut some metal!Just got off the phone with Billy at Brute Force Fab.... new rear bumper should ship on Friday!![]()
Cut long and then brake at a 90 - no rough exposed edges and the bedside will be stronger. I asked my body guy to do that and he thought it was a great idea. His employee - forgot?! I have two new bedsides to do again once time and money permits to repaint some of the truck.
I would rather do something on the inside. Also you know that the radius on the relief for the stock 'bed stiffeners' were changed in 2009 to help them from cracking. I personally wouldn't want to have it reduce the width of our already narrow beds.

I look forward to a Silverback execution of it.I like this idea!
