Hopefully soon we'll see some progress. Got a few things I need to pickup before I start. I'm not building the Great Pyramid of Giza so don't get too excited. LOL

When you look at that first image on a phone it looks like a scary image with night vision or something.

I started laughing last night when I was backing into the driveway at home. The entire driveway, front porch, and part of the yard was lit up from these lights. My wife just started laughing at the lights saying I have no excuse now.

FUCK! CEL came on in the Honda while driving home tonight. Stop at Autozone to read the code. P1259 VTEC malfunction. The valve timing sensor appears to be bad. Read it could be oil level related but I checked it a few times and its normal. Looks like this is a common problem so I bought the sensor and go home to change it. I fucked with it for 3 hours and could not get the sensor off. Its only 3 bolts but I could not get 1 of the bolts loose. I even cut a wrench in half so it would fit in the space I had to work with but no luck breaking the bolt loose. Guess its going to a mechanic this week.

Watching a youtube video and some guy removed the EGR valve to gain access to one of the bolts I had problems with. Still would not give me the access I needed on the lower of the 3 bolts.

Some folks that I know that have bought used cars in the past year or two, the sellers even dealers clear codes on the car, after a few weeks/miles the codes return.

Leave a rag with 50:50 mix Acetone and transmission fluid to soak the bolt/area

That crossed my mind but from what I read this solenoid trips the CEL quickly. Seems to be a common problem as well.

On our 1998 Accord, I was able to clear my CAT code long enough to pass smog! lol :)

Pitter Patter. Lets Get at Er
My Accord has an 02 sensor throwing a code, a leaky power steering pump, and one of my headlights isn't sealed and I drained at least 2 liters of water from it when Istarted doing maintenance last night in preparation for its upcoming inspection

I was planning to weld these puppies myself but have an opportunity to have a very famous race car/truck builder show me how it's done. :) So, I am fitting them up better than I would do normally and hopefully I will get a good lesson in welding. :)

Good. Now you can start spending money on important things like a wing and neon green/orange/pink/blue wheels.
Don't forget the expensive 'muffler' that will require you to wear ear muffs. :)
