And @Taco Loco just reminded me.. I will have a lot of work to do once the new winch comes in. Like rewiring it with heavier gauge wire and relocating the solenoid. I plan to put the solenoid where I have the Warn solenoid now. But I'm sure the mount will be different. And.. please oh please Lord let the winch fit in like the Warn did... by only removing the grill and dropping it in from behind!! I do NOT want to drop the bumper. Speaking of the new winch, it shipped out last Thursday or Friday and was stuck in a UPS warehouse in Portland until today due to the fires. But it has moved on and no predicted arrival date yet. Hope that changes tomorrow. But I will not be sad if its next Monday. Give me the weekend to focus on other items.

Since I have a trip to San Antonio coming up next weekend that requires me to park in a parking garage I had to remove the RTT tonight. My sammich maker is not a body builder so I need to start working on a way to move the RTT on and off the 4Runner in a much easier way. I also did a drain and fill on the transmission fluid pan to remove the cheap transmission fluid and refill with some Lucas fluid.

There are open city/private parking lots

We have a hotel downtown that has a parking garage across the street. I thought about trying to find an open air parking lot but do not want to push my luck after a day of work.

I wish I could. We are going to be down there to see my mother-in-law from North Carolina and work for her company doing booth setup for a retail show. Then we are spending the rest of the time with her. I should load up the gun and come down another weekend though.

Those little antennas scare me. When I was about 7 my great grandmother was visiting and my parents had gone out. So she was putting me to bed and telling me "stories" She told me about one where a guy she knew slipped and fell on the ice and stabbed himself in the eye with the antenna of his car (probably an old 50's Buick or something) and they found him the next day frozen and stuck on his cars antenna. :) I walk wide around those stubby antennas.
Nah they are so soft they will bend before they hurt you.

Walmart has M1 engine oil jugs for $22.88 right now. I picked up a small Dino today between vatozone and Wally world. Autozone is going to increase the price M1 75w-90 from $10.99 to $12.99, it is a recent price change, labels have not been changed in the stores down here, but I make them honor thier shelf price. I always take advantage of thier rewards program and military discount with multiple rewards accounts.

Started rewiring the CB and 2M radio. In order to do so I had to remove a shitload of excess wiring from under the dash. Damn, I think I let the Jennie out of the bottle.. or opened Pandoras Box. What a mess!! I can't locate the wires that power the CB that is under the center console. I found one small (18 ga maybe) wire that I have NO idea where it is going. It goes up to the radio area... but not sure. But I am glad to be removing a LOT of excess BS wiring as I go. Fingers crossed the truck starts tomorrow. :)

What ever happened to the wireless trend?

This reminds me when we had to replace wires that didn't ohm out to specs on the AH 64, very sensitive bastards, but if the aircraft loses hydraulics it is able to fly by wire, very tedious work to replace single strand wires within a wiring harness on helicopters a lot more involved than airplanes/jets and just think toyota heads thought wheel sensors are sensitive, lol
