What have you done to your ride lately?

I changed the driver side spark plugs the other day. Today I had a bit more time so I changed the passenger side. Had to pull the airbox out so it took a bit longer. The two middle plugs had oil on them when I pulled them. I'm going to assume it was because they weren't tight at all but I'll pull them and check them again after the Arkansas trip. One of them beside one of the other plugs I pulled out.

I don't think you get oil on plugs because they are not torque down all the way. After the trip, time will tell, if plugs still have oil, you will want to do a hot engine flush and increase the oil weight that you use

Cleaned out my attached garage (moved fridge and bender to the shop) and moved the small runner in there, fits nicely with the car

Finally got the other 4runner sitting where I want it to place it up on jackstands and start the cuttin. Few more parts to order but next week I'll focus on getting the frame stripped down cleaned.

Ordered a Panavise mount and one of those magnet mounts to hold my phone. Was looking at the RAM mount but wasn't ready to commit to bolting one to my dash and since its for my phone I didn't want the aux cord running from my stereo to the OSH if I did the ball mount like @tx_shooter . Hopefully this works out...or I just give up and order another double din screen w/ Bluetooth.

That's how I have mine mounted. But I added a RAM X-Mount to it to hold the phone.

Pics?
How did you add the X-mount, I was thinking of just bolting a 1" ball mount to the panavise but figured I'd start with the cheap-o magnet mount until I was sure I liked it.

I put my mid & transmission 'shell thing' back on last night, been a couple years, dang exhaust pipe hits it a little bit and rattles, trying to think what to do, might try and find a small brake spring and hose clamp for a solution.

When I first started to install them the first one was very loose. I decided not to install them. Went back a few weeks later and tried again and they fit tight. I might have had the wrong one on or something. But now they seem fairly tight.

I saw guys that pulled out the little metal tab out of the OEM knobs and put them in the new ones. I tried to do that but they didn't fit. Two of mine are really tight and I just had one that was really loose.

I had a new piece welded in that goes underneath the transfercase. Otherwise my skids wouldn't fit.

Or you can order a new exhaust. :D The OEM exhaust is a 1" pipe inside a 2" pipe and restricts the flow pretty bad.

I was in the process of doing the same when my buddys shop got seized by the sheriff. Now I need a new skid plate.

No idea why the OG ATO (Kevin) put the skid crossmember at the same exact location of the OE exhaust flange, but I can only assume it was an oversight because he was running a custom exhaust on his rig when he designed them. Told the new "ATO" to move it back 4" so it wouldn't keep happening. Saw some of the new ATO skids and I think they left them the same and then started using crappier hardware.... some people don't want to innovate I guess.?. Who knows what they have now - this was years ago.

yes I have the ATO shell things, mine is one of the older sets, where the center hole does not match the center hole on the rear skid plate, but if you could somehow flip one skid over, the mounting holes align, well I finally drilled by guessing where the welded nut was last night, and I came close enough to use a unibit bit to expand that hole a bit, it now has its center bolt attached now.

This will be a project for a family member of mine who owns a muffler shop in Magnolia, probably in the Spring next year
