Not, just need to spray paint it, it's minor compared to mid skid, it has large deep scrapes

But why? Use the Ferd for the mileage and the Taco for fun activities
Next time use the Mobil One M1-209 filter. Same OEM filter but twice the oil capacity. Thanks to @SecretSquirrel for that tip.

I buy OEM by the case now, super cheap compared to any after market filter, few ounces not gonna matter, more dollars saved as the sheep build continues

FYI ~ OE has tall and short as well. I bought a case of talls made for the V8 many years ago. Same exact filter/pressures/etc. as my V6 with just more filtering media. They sit collecting dust now

So I was crawling under my money pit and saw a new crack. Although I would prefer to make prettier fishplates, I had this material in the garage and have enough to make 4.

This was the other side and the repair I made just one week after Zoom giving me the welder as a birthday gift and a couple of hours before leaving for a 2 week trip to Moab.
And now for the Fishplates. I would prefer to make them sexier but this was the material I had so... ... they will have to do. Now to finish the fab and weld them on.

Is that the cross member that goes under the transmission?After I finish these, I will make small skid plates as to not allow rocks to repeat this damage.

Your poor truck. It needs a life of sleeping in the garage and getting waxed once a month.Yes. A simple, inexpensive little skid could have prevented this. I just found out one of the Tundras on our chase team has the condition as well.

But really, I agree with you. I just need to pare down my distractions like work and such! My postman came up and saw me under the truck. He said, "You sure like working on your truck."
