The oil is changed by removing the plug screw and working a tube in to the deepest part and the using the syringe to pull it out. Easily said; bit of a bitch to get done. They did not leave much room in there.
Gotcha, I remember seeing wheelers and dealers tv show when they did the service on a mini cooper and they had to remove the whole thing. A syringe would still seem easier than disassembly.
Today I got around to getting the 50 hour break-in maintenance done on the Kubota. Changed the transmission fluid (HST), both the suction filter and hydraulic filter, new primary and secondary air filter, new gear oil in the mower gearbox, greased all the zerks, and replaced the blades with a new set I'm going to sharpen the set that was on there and keep for a spare so I can swap them out in the future
