And so it begins
I was talking to Taylor about it last night. Shes not a fan of the idea of me keeping it. But I can't keep both vehicles. She told me to decide which I'd miss more... the truck or the money I'll lose selling the Civic. So now I'm giving myself a few days to figure out what I'm gonna do. I've done the math and I dont stand to lose much on the car. I can make up the money in a few months in insurance and payment savings. I think I'll regret selling the truck.
I put this one on, but I’d order it direct from ready lift<hangs head> yes.. SO Lets talk leveling kits! I saw a YouTube post and the dude did a Rough Country (I know, but not an off-road rig) leveling springs that provided 1.5" and I thought the end results was perfect. What says you?
DUDE.. WTF.. she is telling you that you can't have two vehicles? Is the Taco paid for? WTF. Grow a set.. tell her.. its happening. Two vehicles. You want the Civic for daily and the truck to play in.. or Home Depot runs. Are you engaged?
No, shes not telling me I cant have two vehicles. She has no say in that. There's other factors playing into it. She knows I fully intend to have two vehicles someday but now is not the time. Plus theres just not room for three vehicles at MY current house.
Heading to Stephenville for LJT. Not gonna do any trails at that, haha

2011-2019 F250 & F350 4WD ReadyLIFT 2.5" Front Leveling Kit w/ Bilstein Shocks 46-2727
Then I ordered a set of matching shocks for the rear from summit. It rides good still, and I only went this route because I drive on these shitty dirt roads daily. I need to get some caster or camber shims (maybe) and with these bigger tires I could use a duel steering stabilizer @ hwy speeds. If I was going to “off-road” it I’d go with the comfort one from Carli, but I didn’t see the point of dropping that much $ for no reason. I do want to get some extended brake lines for the front and I’d recommend getting them, cause rebending the stock ones is sketchy even if it works.
Going to be leaving Sunday mid morning. I'm down in Hico quite often and am starting to come to the ville a little more frequently now that I've figured out that it's a fun place to beAre you staying through Sunday? You are right in my neighborhood depending on which route you take. I now work in Stephenville every day.
Need to see what size blocks you have in the rear, 3-4”. Mine has the 3” and the 21/2 worked out great once the springs settled. If you do just a spacer with shock extensions then I’m not sure. I think the block size all depends on what packages you have optioned (towing, plow etc), I do know the only difference between the FX4 and 4X4 is skid plates and some knock off Rancho shocks, but I’m not sure about the block in the rear.Well this is not going off-road, I know, I have been wrong in my posts of what I will or will not do in the past... oh lets say 24 hours.. but serious. This is NOT an off-road rig. So I am thinking just the leveling kit will be fine. 2.5"is the key?
BULLSHIT... Go get your balls out of her purse and tell her you are keeping your truck. You dodged the question. Is it paid for? If so.. keep it. If its not.. you are retarded. You have had it forever. But it has to be paid for... keep it. Put it at your parents place. If this is how you start a marriage.. dude you are screwed. Man the fuck up.![]()

Replaced the passenger side fender, got the grille on, got the new corner lights on, new headlights will be here tomorrow. Need to wire wheel the bumper and repaint it and pick up some stainless hardware for it. This thing is cleaning up real nice. Dont think I'm gonna be able to let it go after all.
It was longer than I expected. I'm just sitting here waiting for him to design/build a new audio system for the truck. So Sean lasted what? A day?
