I've been meaning to replace the K&N that is on my 4Runner with OEM as well. Guess I'll order that and a new cabin filter before I forget.

That was one of the companies we were looking at buying when I was at the aftermarket company. It may decrease restrictions but I would NEVER put one on a MAF sensored vehicle. OEM style filters and housings will be on my vehicles until I have a dirt nap.

I have OEM filters on all my vehicles that go off pavement. Only the Bimmer has a K&N

Opened up the the two 1/4" drain holes in the bed of my taco's bed. Now those holes are now 1/2". I have drilled two extra 3/4" holes on each side. One where all three surfaces of the bed meets and another between that one and the now 1/2" hole. I was tired of it not draining. Next to put some covering on the vap tube that is directly under the factory drain.

Finally picked up a 30mm socket and replaced the front output shaft seal on my 2001 4Runner. It was not a bad swap out thanks to a good 1/2" electric impact. I took it out for a 15 minute test drive and engaged the 4wd on a dirt parking lot. Now we will see if it seeps anything but so far an hour later it looks good. Now I just have to deal with the new belts on the motor. The Oreilly belts are freaking loud.

running a K&N is the best way to dust a motor and/or a turbo! I think a screened in porch keeps more dirt out then their filters

Just ordered 5 Yohomama Geolandar MT's in 285/75-17. Not in stock locally so they are shipping out of Oklahoma. Hopefully they get here before next Tuesday. Will probably pick up 3 more so everything is on the same wheel and tire combo.

Nice! I wanted that size but they were almost $100 more per tire than the 295/70/17.

They were $160 LESS (per tire) than the same size KM3! I jumped on it. $278 a piece plus certs vs. the $438 for KM3's.

Still waiting on these things! Called Friday and the guy had no clue when they would be here. I said "fine.. not in a huge hurry".. Also told him to order me 2 more. I'll still need one more but that one would just sit in the garage until I make a rear bumper with tire carrier for the trailer anyhow. Anyhow, I will have 4 KM2's I'll be selling. 2 will be brand new and 2 have 60-70% tread life.

Fucking Discount Tire! I tried to order the tires online and have delivered to the store but their "ever so wise" ordering system wouldn't let me order the size tire I wanted because it wasn't stock. Anyhow, I called the store to order. Fucking dingleberry only ordered 4 tires... I ordered two more on Friday but that went into the system today and those tires are on nationwide backorder. Fuckers! I called today and said I was very disappointed. If homeboy who ordered the first set would have got all 5 this would not be an issue. But as it is, I only have 4 tires. I said I would take Toyo Open Country MT's as a suitable replacement.. for a discount of course. So I ordered 8 of them, should be here tomorrow. I'll probably load the trailer tires into the bed of the taco and take it up there to get taken care of at the same time.

Oh and when I say "I'll load tires in the bed"... I can't lift anything over 10 pounds for 4-6 weeks. So it will just be me asking nicely for someone to load them up.

Took the last 3 tires up to Discount this morning to have them mounted and balanced. Told them I wanted to keep the take-offs. Hopefully they don't fuck this up.

Might have made a mistake... I unloaded the 6 tires by myself just a moment ago. Something doesn't feel right. Maybe I should have listened to the Dr. But they are unloaded. Need to take some pics of the old ones and put them on FB Marketplace.
