Yep. That was during the summer. But don't forget about last winter when people couldn't get power restored to their homes and therefore couldn't heat them.
....at least they could go run the car and generate some heat....oh, wait.
What actually did crack me up is all the people who have solar, but didn't think to invest in the home battery storage options. You know, the ones who just put back into the grid to offset their usage. Sure, that can be a good investment when the grid is up....but with no battery storage, their solar energy was being "stolen" by the grid to do essentially nothing. So they weren't even able to enjoy the benefits of it when power was out.
