Used my Rage circular saw to cut the aluminum floor of my bed tonight. That fucker worked like a champ

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I bough my guys the 10" Rage bench saw a few weeks ago for cutting stainless. Worked like a champ. Needed to cut a ton of aluminum this week so bought their aluminum cutting blade. Idiot in my warehouse nuked the blade and the saw on the first cut. Apparently he didn't know the difference from aluminum bar stock and stainless. Ripped off 4 teeth and not carbide tips the entire teeth are gone. Moron is lucky to have his arm. Saws done after 4 uses.... can't fix stupied.

Up until that point I was impressed with it. Could cut razor thin stainless and leave no kerf.

Didn't end up doing a one piece drive shaft. Shop said it was too long... like I haven't heard that before, lol

So, I did a wookie strength center bearing and replaced the u-joints

what was the part # for the center?

Nope. And my rear shocks are always custom because of the dakarlift pack in the rear. My current Fox Resi's are "custom"

So what did you buy?

Following Michaels Big 3 upgrade I ordered 25' of red and 25' of black 1/0 wire and 20 terminals. Forgot the 1/0 crimper though. Now to find a nice alternator that isn't $600!!

Nice, I have a crimper that does some pretty big sizes, not sure what the biggest lugs/wire it will do but, I have to go out find it and Google the model #

Ordered two gallons of Lucas 75w-90 gear lube for fluid change in the 4R and Taco. Looks like I am going to do a bit of maintenance today and this weekend.

I don't know what I did to earn this kind of a week; but I promise to never do it again. Looks like I am going to use a dremel with a cut off wheel to trim the bolt head where I can get a wrench on it to get it out - hopefully.

Ended up cutting the head of that bolt into a square. As I was cutting it with the dremel it started backing out. Damn bolt came out finger loose.

That's looks like a lot of work, would it been easier to weld a bolt/nut on the end of that?

Dremel tool with a cut off wheel was pretty easy.

Update - rear diff and transfer case fluids have been changed. Front diff fill and drain plugs have been buggered up pretty badly. I am going to order new plugs before pulling them. Replacing the old fluid with Lucas.
